Harry's Office - random
So, it's the middle of the afternoon, I'm sitting here in my office and I have no clients. I've been through my mail three times. And I've just finished off my last paperback. I need to restock my box of books.

I look at my watch - two minutes have passed since the last time I looked. This is going to be a long afternoon.

Oh thank - someone. I don't even groan and complain about getting out of my chair and walking to the door. That is how bored I've been today.

"Carlos?" Of course, I'm not expecting Warden I'm-Too-Sexy to be on my doorstep. Though, I do peek around to see if there's a trail of estrogen floating along behind him all blond, or brunette, or redhead. Sadly, there's not.

	"Too bad that's all it's getting lately." I'd settle for it getting kicked, even, right about now. Damn, business is slow. "So, what's up?" I wave to one of the chairs in front of the desk. 	Now I think I should be offended he didn't come to me first. "Well, sine I'm your last resort and I really am that bored, what'ya got?" Hey, even I get to watch a little tv from time-to-time. On those funny big-screen jobs at the out of the way electronics stores, but only if I'm in a decent mood and stand about ten feet away. Chicago's nice for those little electronics shops boasting the big-screen TVs. I can sit across the street, drink some coffee and watch House on Tuesday nights. Best thing on TV in years.

"What makes you think I can come up with anything on these guys? Dammit, Jim, I'm a wizard not a doctor." I should stop with the pop culture references now, right?

I wag a finger at him. "You need a cooler cover."

Then, I pick up the phone. Best not to drop in on Butters unannounced - especially if he's not there. Harder to bribe my way past the desk jockey if the guy I'm going to see isn't even in the building.

Voicemail. I leave him a message to call me back at the office - there's a mostly reliable answering service there. Back at my place there's - Molly. Great at answering the phone. Not so good at always getting the messages to me timely. She's a teenager.

"Gotta wait on a call-back. He's either really busy or not in," I say as I hang up the phone. "Wanna scrounge up some grub?"

"The good Indian place burnt down last week. Bummer too. Great stuff. And the owner was a nice guy. Apparently, he got on the wrong side of a demon and - it was bad. He'll looking to open a new place, but it'll be a while."

That's a lot more information than I was intending to dole out there.

"But, there's still a good Thai place not far from here. There's a better one across town, if you can manage a fifteen minute drive."
